Abstract:
The present invention relates to a magnetic carrier used in binary electrophotographic apparatuses such as copiers, printers, etc.; a method for producing the same; and a binary developer comprising the same. The magnetic carrier comprises: a porous magnetic ferrite core; a ceramic coating layer coated on the surface of the porous magnetic ferrite core; and a resin coating layer coated on the surface of the ceramic coating layer. The magnetic carrier of the present invention comprises the ceramic coating layer and the resin coating layer, thereby enhancing the durability of the magnetic carrier and preventing charging loss, such that charging stability can be achieved and thus high-quality printing can be obtained for a long time.
