A method and an apparatus for encoding and decoding a 360-degree image are disclosed. The disclosed method and apparatus for decoding an image according to one embodiment: acquire image data from a bit stream; decode a projection image of a 360-degree image from the image data; convert the projection image into the 360-degree image; acquire rotation information on the 360-degree image from the bit stream; and restore an original 360-degree image by rotating the 360-degree image on the basis of the rotation information.

L'invention concerne un procédé et un appareil de codage et de décodage d'une image à 360 degrés. Le procédé et l'appareil décrits de décodage d'une image selon un mode de réalisation font appel aux étapes consistant à : acquérir des données d'image à partir d'un train de bits; décoder une image de projection d'une image à 360 degrés à partir des données d'image; convertir l'image de projection en image à 360 degrés; acquérir des informations de rotation concernant l'image à 360 degrés à partir du train de bits; et restaurer une image à 360 degrés d'origine par rotation de l'image à 360 degrés sur la base des informations de rotation.

360도 이미지를 부호화 또는 복호화하는 방법 및 장치가 개시된다. 개시된 일 실시예에 따른 영상 복호화 방법 및 장치는 비트스트림으로부터 영상 데이터를 획득하고, 상기 영상 데이터로부터 360도 이미지의 투영 이미지를 복호화하고, 상기 투영 이미지를 상기 360도 이미지로 변환하고, 상기 비트스트림으로부터 상기 360도 이미지의 회전 정보를 획득하고, 상기 회전 정보에 기초하여 상기 360도 영상을 회전시켜 원본 360도 이미지를 복원한다.
