Abstract:
A precision member accommodation container of the present invention is formed from a polycarbonate resin, wherein the polycarbonate resin is an extrusion product obtained by extruding a polymer, which is prepared by melt polymerizing an aromatic dihydroxy compound and a diaryl carbonate, while carrying out venting with an extruder having vent equipment attached at the end thereof, and pelletizing the same, and is characterized in that the amount of chloride ion (Cl-) is approximately 2.0 ppb or less, the rates of weight change in distilled water, ethanol, or n-heptane solvent, according to the following formula 1, are respectively 0.03% or less, the amount of remaining monomers measured by HPLC-GC/MS is approximately 500 ppm or less, and the amount of alkali metal ions measured by ICP-MS is approximately 50-200 ppb. [Formula 1] Rate of weight change (W) = (W1/W0) * 100 In formula 1, W1 is the weight of pellets after carrying out extraction on 100 g of pellets with each solvent for six hours, and removing the solvent, and W0 is the weight of the pellets before the extraction.
