Title: ABS-BASED GRAFT COPOLYMER, PREPARATION METHOD THEREFOR, AND THERMOPLASTIC RESIN COMPOSITION CONTAINING SAME
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an ABS-based graft copolymer, a preparation method, and a thermoplastic resin composition containing the same and, more specifically, the amount of unnecessary residues in an ABS-based graft copolymer latex can be reduced by applying a phosphate ester-based reactive emulsifier, which can act as a metal deactivator, during emulsion polymerization of an ABS-based graft copolymer, and thus the present invention has excellent thermal stability while requiring no heat stabilizers, enables compatibility of the ABS-based graft copolymer and an aromatic vinyl compound-vinyl cyano compound copolymer to be improved by the phosphate ester-based reactive emulsifier, and, ultimately, has improved impact resistance, such as impact strength, or exterior quality such as whiteness, of a final molded product, and greatly improved thermal stability.
