Disclosed are a device for managing a battery and a method for protecting an LFP cell from overcharge using same. The device for managing a battery, according to the present invention, comprises: a voltage measurement unit, which is electrically connected to a plurality of LFP cells serially connected inside an LFP battery, for individually measuring the voltage of each of the LFP cells and outputting a voltage value indicating the measured voltages; and a control unit for outputting a first signal requesting initiation of a charging process for the LFP, and, when at least one voltage value of the plurality of LFP cells outputted by the voltage measurement unit reaches a critical voltage value while the charging process is being carried out by the first signal, outputting a second signal requesting discontinuation of the charging process and then outputting a third signal requesting initiation of a discharging process.

L'invention concerne un dispositif de gestion d'une batterie et un procédé de protection d'une cellule LFP contre une surcharge l'utilisant. Le dispositif de gestion d'une batterie, selon la présente invention, comprend : une unité de mesure de tension, qui est connectée électriquement à une pluralité de cellules LFP branchées en série à l'intérieur d'une batterie LFP, pour mesurer individuellement la tension de chacune des cellules LFP et délivrer une valeur de tension indiquant les tensions mesurées; et une unité de commande qui va délivrer un premier signal demandant le déclenchement d'un processus de charge pour la LFP, et qui, lorsqu'au moins une valeur de tension de la pluralité de cellules LFP délivrée par l'unité de mesure de tension atteint une valeur de tension critique pendant la mise en œuvre du processus de charge par le premier signal, va émettre un deuxième signal demandant l'interruption du processus de charge, puis un troisième signal demandant le déclenchement d'un processus de décharge.

배터리 관리 장치 및 이를 이용한 LFP 셀의 과전압 보호 방법을 개시한다. 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 배터리 관리 장치는, LFP 배터리 내에서 직렬 연결된 복수의 LFP 셀과 전기적으로 연결되고, 각 LFP 셀의 전압을 개별적으로 측정하여, 측정된 전압을 나타내는 전압값을 출력하는 전압 측정부; 및 상기 LFP 에 대한 충전 프로세스의 개시를 요청하는 제1 신호를 출력하고, 상기 제1 신호에 의해 상기 충전 프로세스가 진행되는 동안 상기 전압 측정부로부터 출력되는 복수의 LFP 셀의 전압값 중 적어도 하나가 임계 전압값에 도달한 경우, 상기 충전 프로세스의 중단을 요청하는 제2 신호를 출력한 다음 방전 프로세스의 개시를 요청하는 제3 신호를 출력하는 제어부;를 포함한다.
