Abstract:
(EN) It was found that, by causing the expression of a target protein in bacteria having a type III secretion apparatus, bringing said bacteria into contact with a plant, and then cultivating infected tissue for a set period under bacteriostatic conditions, the efficiency of introduction of the protein to the plant is dramatically increased compared to conventional methods in which the bacteria-infected plant is grown as-is.
(FR) Il a été découvert que, en provoquant l'expression d'une protéine cible dans des bactéries ayant un appareil de sécrétion de type III, la mise en contact desdites bactéries avec une plante, puis la culture de tissu infecté pendant une période définie dans des conditions bactériostatiques, l'efficacité d'introduction de la protéine dans la plante est considérablement augmentée par comparaison avec des méthodes classiques dans lesquelles la plante infectée par des bactéries est cultivée telle quelle.
(JA) III型分泌装置を有する細菌で目的のタンパク質を発現させ、当該細菌を植物に接触させた後、感染組織を静菌的条件下で一定期間培養することにより、細菌感染させた植物をそのまま栽培する従来法と比較して、植物へのタンパク質の導入効率が飛躍的に高まることを見出した。
