Provided is a phase difference film comprising a layer A that includes a thermoplastic resin A and inorganic particles I, wherein the Nz coefficient at 540 nm is more than 0.1 and less than 1.0, the in-plane retardation Re at 540 nm is more than 50 nm and less than 300 nm, the thermoplastic resin A has a negative intrinsic birefringence value, the inorganic particles I are plate-like inorganic particles, the average diameter of the inorganic particles I in the plate surface direction is 10-60 nm, and the content of the inorganic particles I in the layer A is 5-20 wt%.

L'invention concerne un film à différence de phase comprenant une couche (A) qui comprend une résine thermoplastique (A) et des particules inorganiques (I), le coefficient Nz à 540 nm étant supérieur à 0,1 et inférieur à 1,0, le retard dans le plan Re à 540 nm étant supérieur à 50 nm et inférieur à 300 nm, la résine thermoplastique (A) ayant une valeur de biréfringence intrinsèque négative, les particules inorganiques (I) étant des particules inorganiques de type plaque, le diamètre moyen des particules inorganiques (I) dans la direction de surface de plaque étant de 10 à 60 nm et la teneur des particules inorganiques (I) dans la couche (A) étant de 5 à 20 % en poids.
