Abstract:
(EN) Provided is a pneumatic tire for motorcycles such that both grip performance when a large camber angle is applied and durability are achieved. This pneumatic tire has an aspect ratio of 80%-40% and comprises a spiral belt (7) formed by spirally winding along the tire circumferential direction a ribbon-like strip (9) obtained by coating two parallel steel cords (8) with rubber. With the pneumatic tire mounted to a suitable rim, inflated to a prescribed internal pressure, and in an unloaded state, an interval A between two steel cords of the ribbon-like strip along the periphery of the spiral belt (7) is in the range of 0.8-1.5 mm, and an interval B between adjacent steel cords of the ribbon-like strip along the periphery of the spiral belt 7 is composed of a closely spaced area M of 0.8-2.5 mm and a loosely spaced area S of 3.5-6.0 mm. The closely spaced area M has, along the periphery of the spiral belts 7 with the tire equatorial plane CL as the center, a closely spaced area M1 the length of which is 50% or less thereof and 10 mm or more. The tensile strength of each of the steel cords is in the range of 200 N-1000 N.
(FR) L'invention concerne un pneu pour motocyclettes qui assure à la fois les performances d'accrochage lorsqu'un angle de carrossage important est appliqué et la durabilité. Le pneu selon l'invention présente un rapport d'aspect de 80 % à 40 % et comprend une ceinture en spirale (7) formée par enroulement en spirale le long de la direction circonférentielle du pneu d'une bande de type ruban (9) obtenue par revêtement de deux cordons en acier parallèles (8) avec du caoutchouc. Lorsque le pneu est monté sur une jante appropriée, gonflé à une pression interne prescrite et dans un état déchargé, un intervalle A entre deux cordons en acier de la bande de type ruban le long de la périphérie de la ceinture en spirale (7) est compris dans la plage de 0,8 à 1,5 mm, et un intervalle B entre des cordons en acier adjacents de la bande de type ruban le long de la périphérie de la ceinture en spirale (7) est composée d'une zone à espacement étroit M de 0,8 à 2,5 mm et d'une zone à espacement large S de 3,5 à 6,0 mm.
