Abstract:
A device (100) which acquires information relating to the rotation of an electric motor (10) that is provided with a commutator (20) includes: a rotation angle calculation unit (32) that calculates a rotation angle (θ) of the electric motor (10) on the basis of a voltage V between the terminals of the electric motor (10), and a current (Im) flowing in the electric motor (10); a first signal generation unit (34) that generates a first pulse signal (Pa) on the basis of a ripple component (Ir) included in the current (Im) flowing in the electric motor (10); a second signal generation unit (35) that generates a second pulse signal (Pb) on the basis of the first pulse signal (Pa) and the rotation angle (θ), said second pulse signal indicating that the electric motor (10) has rotated by an inter-slit angle (θc); and a rotation information calculation unit (36) that calculates information relating to the rotation of the electric motor (10) on the basis of the output of the second signal generation unit (35).
