Abstract:
An infrared light source (32) radiates infrared light in the entire range or a portion of the range of absorbed wavelengths of a biological material to an ATR prism (20). The ATR prism (20) is capable of adhering to measurement object skin (40). A prism oscillation control unit (52) is mounted to the ATR prism (20), and causes the ATR prism (20) to oscillate in the direction perpendicular to a contact surface of the ATR prism (20) and the measurement object skin (40). The control unit (50) causes an infrared light detector (30) to detect infrared light in synchrony with the oscillation of the ATR prism (20).
