Abstract

The present invention discloses an electrophoretic chip comprising: (a) a non- conductive substrate designed to support elements of said electrophoretic chip; (b) an electrode structure for conducting current through said electrophoretic chip, printed on said non-conductive substrate and comprising a counter electrode and at least one working electrode, each electrode comprising a conductive low-resistance ink layer printed on the non-conductive substrate, and a carbon ink layer printed on top of and fully or partially covering said conductive low-resistance ink layer; (c) a dielectric ink insulator layer placed on top of, and covering, said electrode structure, said dielectric ink insulator layer having at least one opening above the counter electrode and at least one opening above said at least one working electrode, thereby forming at least one addressable location; and (d) a molecule capturing matrix spotted on and covering said at least one addressable location, thereby creating at least one microgel region.

La présente invention concerne une puce électrophorétique comprenant : (a) un substrat non conducteur conçu pour supporter des éléments de ladite puce électrophorétique ; (b) une structure d'électrode destinée à conduire du courant à travers ladite puce électrophorétique, imprimée sur ledit substrat non conducteur et comprenant une contre-électrode et au moins une électrode de travail, chaque électrode comprenant une couche d'encre conductrice à faible résistance imprimée sur le substrat non conducteur et une couche d'encre au carbone imprimée sur ladite couche d'encre conductrice à faible résistance et recouvrant entièrement ou partiellement celle-ci ; (c) une couche isolante d'encre diélectrique placée au-dessus de ladite structure d'électrode et recouvrant celle-ci, ladite couche isolante d'encre diélectrique comportant au moins une ouverture au-dessus de la contre-électrode et au moins une ouverture au-dessus de ladite au moins une électrode de travail, formant ainsi au moins un emplacement adressable ; et (d) une matrice de capture de molécules déposée sur ledit au moins un emplacement adressable et recouvrant celui-ci, créant ainsi au moins une région de microgel.
