Abstract

The present invention relates to a barcode reader (8) comprising: a casing; a window (14), the window and casing defining an interior volume; a read head; and a light source (18) that is able to emit light rays (54). Each light source and the window are arranged so that all the transmitted light rays (55) emerge from an external face (48) of the window with an angle (α) smaller than or equal to 35 degrees to said external face. An internal face (46) of the window includes a peripheral face (60) for entrance of the incident rays (54), each light source being placed facing said peripheral face with its illumination direction perpendicular to said peripheral face, said peripheral face being inclined with respect to a direction normal to a pane of the window and making an angle (β) strictly larger than 48.19 degrees to said normal direction.

La présente invention concerne un lecteur de code à barres (8) comprenant un boîtier, une vitre (14), la vitre et le boîtier définissant un volume intérieur, une tête de lecture, et une source lumineuse (18) propre à émettre des rayons lumineux (54). Chaque source lumineuse et la vitre sont agencées de sorte que tous les rayons lumineux transmis (55) émergent d'une face externe (48) de la vitre avec un angle (α) inférieur ou égal à 35 degrés avec ladite face externe. Une face interne (46) de la vitre comporte une face périphérique d'entrée (60) des rayons incidents (54), chaque source lumineuse étant disposée en regard de ladite face périphérique avec sa direction d'éclairement perpendiculaire à ladite face périphérique, ladite face périphérique étant inclinée par rapport à une direction normale à une lame de la vitre et formant un angle (β) strictement supérieur à 48,19 degrés avec ladite direction normale.
