Abstract:
(EN) There is provided mechanisms for obtaining channel conditions per antenna element. A method is performed by a wireless radio transceiver device comprising N antenna elements in an antenna array with analog beamforming and being configured to communicate using beams. The method comprises obtaining, for a stationary radio propagation channel, channel conditions for signals received by the wireless radio transceiver device in M beams, where M>1. The method comprises transforming the channel conditions for the M beams to channel conditions for the N antenna elements by using a relation based on beamforming weights that map the N antenna elements to the M beams.
(FR) L'invention concerne des mécanismes pour obtenir des conditions de canal pour chaque élément d'antenne. Un procédé est mis en œuvre par un dispositif émetteur-récepteur radio sans fil qui comprend N éléments d'antenne dans un réseau d'antennes à formation de faisceau analogique et qui est configuré pour communiquer à l'aide de faisceaux. Le procédé comprend l'obtention, pour un canal de propagation radio stationnaire, de conditions de canal pour des signaux reçus par le dispositif émetteur-récepteur radio sans fil dans M faisceaux, où M > 1. Le procédé comprend la transformation des conditions de canal pour les M faisceaux en conditions de canal pour les N éléments d'antenne au moyen d'une relation basée sur des poids de formation de faisceau qui mettent en correspondance les N éléments d'antenne avec les M faisceaux.
