Abstract:
A robot and a shoulder/arm rotating structure therefor. The shoulder/arm rotating structure is used for connecting a shoulder (300) to an arm (400); the shoulder (300) comprises a first end (301) having a ball structure (300a) and a second end (302) opposite to the first end (301); the arm (400) has a ball socket (401) matching the ball structure (300a); a rotary disk (303) for connecting to the ball socket (401) and a motive member (304) for enabling the rotary disk (303) to rotate with the axis of the rotary disk (303) as a center are provided inside the ball structure (300a). The robot shoulder/arm rotating structure is able to improve the reliability of the connection between the arm (400) and the shoulder (300). The arm (400) of the robot has high operational flexibility and is able to swing to a large swing angle with respect to the shoulder (300).
