Title: ONU RANGING METHOD AND APPARATUS AND METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DETERMINING PARAMETER FOR ADJUSTING INTERNAL DELAY OF ONU
Abstract:
Provided in the disclosure are an ONU ranging method and apparatus and a method and an apparatus for determining a parameter for adjusting an internal delay of an ONU. The ONU ranging method comprises: adjusting an internal delay of an ONU by using a first ranging-delay adjustment parameter, wherein the first ranging-delay adjustment parameter is calculated according to an actual distance and a measured distance between an OLT and the ONU; receiving a first distance between the ONU and the OLT sent by the OLT; determining whether the first distance corresponds to the first ranging-delay adjustment parameter, and if so, determining that the first distance is the measured distance between the ONU and the OLT, and if not, determining whether a difference between the first ranging-delay adjustment parameter and a second ranging-delay adjustment parameter is greater than a preset threshold; if the difference is greater than the preset threshold, adjusting the internal delay of the ONU according to the second ranging-delay adjustment parameter, and instructing the OLT to perform ranging again, and if the difference is not greater than the preset threshold, determining that the first distance is the measured distance between the OLT and the ONU.
