Title: METHOD AND DEVICE FOR ELIMINATING IMAGE BORDER OF ELECTROPHORETIC ELECTRONIC PAPER
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for eliminating an image border of electrophoretic electronic paper. The method comprises the following steps: S1, obtaining gray-scale drive waveform information and gray-scale position information, wherein the drive waveform information comprises a level value and a duration corresponding to same; S2, outputting, based on an end level value of a first gray scale, a level duration and a starting level value of a second gray scale, adjustment waveform information, wherein the adjustment waveform information comprises a level value, an embedding time and an embedding position of a waveform; and S3, modifying, based on the adjustment waveform information, the gray-scale drive waveform information, and controlling, based on the modified gray-scale drive waveform information, the output of a drive electrode. The device is used for realising the corresponding method. By means of embedding a cancellation waveform in drive waveforms, greatly affected by a fringe electric field, at two transformation gray scales, and by means of staggered pressurisation and synchronous pressurisation, the impact of the fringe electric field on the movement of electronic paper micro-capsules is eliminated, thereby effectively reducing border ghosting.
