Abstract:
A production process for manufacturing a glazed sintered wall brick or building block by using construction waste, relating to the technical field of recycling of construction waste for brick production. Green bodies of bricks are manufactured from a mixed material of construction waste, such as disused viscous soil, bricks, and concrete blocks, and plant materials, such as garden waste, trees, plant straws, rice chaff, wood chips, or wastes in paper mills, sugar refineries, and coffee factories; molded green bodies of bricks or building blocks, or dried and preheated green bodies of bricks or building blocks, or sintered bricks or building bricks are glazed or secondarily glazed, and are preliminarily or secondarily fired. The method effectively utilizes construction waste, garden waste, and industrial waste, and improves the recycling and utilization effects of the waste; due to the addition of plant materials, glaze application is easier, and the glaze can infiltrate into micropores on the surfaces of the bricks or building blocks, so that the glaze layers are more closely and firmly bonded to the bricks, and the probability of falling off of the glazes later is far lower than that of current outer wall tiles.
