Title: METHOD FOR DRIVING LIQUID-CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE AND LIQUID-CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE
Abstract:
A method for driving a liquid-crystal display device and a liquid-crystal display device (100). The method comprises: receiving image data entering a timing controller (S101); calculating an area, in a display image corresponding to the image data, having a coupling phenomenon exceeding a predetermined level (S102); determining whether the area, in the display image corresponding to the image data, having a coupling phenomenon exceeding the predetermined level is greater than or equal to a predetermined area (S103); and, when the area, in the display image corresponding to the image data, having a coupling phenomenon exceeding the predetermined level is greater than or equal to a predetermined area, driving the liquid-crystal display device (100) by means of two-column inversion, wherein, when the liquid-crystal display device is driven by means of two-column inversion, driving directions of a data signal S(n+2) and a data signal S(n+3) at a same time point are opposite, where n is zero or a positive even number (S104).
