Title: METHOD FOR DETERMINING CHANNEL TIME DELAY, POSITIONING METHOD, AND RELATED DEVICE
Abstract:
Provided are a method for determining a channel time delay, a positioning method, a communication device and a positioning device for calculating a channel time delay to improve the positioning accuracy. A communication device obtaining, based on geographical information about a calibration UE and a station, a propagation time delay; the communication device also calculating, according to a wireless signal sent by the calibration UE to an antenna, a time of arrival; and the communication making a calculation, according to the obtained time of arrival and propagation time delay, to obtain a channel time delay, wherein the channel time delay is positively related to the time of arrival, and negatively related to the propagation time delay. In this way, the communication device may simply acquire, according to the geographical information about the calibration UE and the station, the propagation time delay, thus calculating, according to the propagation time delay and the time of arrival, the channel time delay. In addition, in the process of positioning other UEs using a positioning method based on a TOA/TDOA mechanism, the channel time delay may be eliminated from the time of arrival, thus improving the positioning accuracy of the positioning mechanism affected by the channel time delay.
