Abstract:
(EN) The invention relates to an ex-vivo method for the prognosis of metastasis in prostate cancer, which comprises determining the expression level of at least one of the following genes: NRP-1, MFAP4, NRIP3, THBS2, TNF, EDN1, EBF1 and GALNT16, in a biological sample containing stromal cells from a primary prostate cancer tumour, and establishing if the expression of genes NRP-1, MFAP4, NRIP3, THBS2, TNF, EDN1 and EBF1 is increased or if the expression of the gene GALNT16 is reduced, which correlates with the prognosis of metastasis in prostate cancer. The invention also relates to a kit for making a prognosis of metastasis in prostate cancer, which comprises means for quantifying the products of genes NRP-1, MFAP4, NRIP3, THBS2, TNF, EDN1, EBF1 and GALNT16 in a sample comprising prostate stromal cells.
(FR) Méthode ex vivo de pronostic de métastases du cancer de la prostate, qui consiste à déterminer le niveau d'expression d’au moins un des gènes suivants: NRP-1, MFAP4, NRIP3, THBS2, TNF, EDN1, EBF1 et GALNT16, dans un échantillon biologique contenant des cellules du stroma de la tumeur primaire du cancer de la prostate; et à vérifier si l’expression des gènes NRP-1, MFAP4, NRIP3, THBS2, TNF, EDN1, EBF1 est accrue ou si l’expression du gène GALNT16 est réduite, le résultat étant corrélé au pronostic de métastases du cancer de la prostate. L’invention concerne en outre une trousse pour le pronostic des métastases du cancer de la prostate, qui comprend des moyens pour quantifier les produits des gènes NRP-1, MFAP4, NRIP3, THBS2, TNF, EDN1, EBF1 et GALNT16 dans un échantillon de cellules du stroma prostatique.
(ES) Método ex vivo de pronóstico de metástasis en cáncer de próstata que comprende determinar el nivel de expresión de al menos uno de los siguientes genes: NRP-1, MFAP4, NRIP3, THBS2, TNF, EDN1, EBF1 y GALNT16, en una muestra biológica que contenga células de estroma de tumor primario de cáncer de próstata; y establecer si la expresión de los genes NRP-1, MFAP4, NRIP3, THBS2, TNF, EDN1, EBF1 está aumentada o si la expresión del gen GALNT16 está disminuida, lo que se correlaciona con el pronóstico de metástasis en cáncer de próstata. Y kit para pronosticar metástasis en cáncer de próstata que comprende medios para cuantificar los productos de los genes NRP-1, MFAP4, NRIP3, THBS2, TNF, EDN1, EBF1 y GALNT16, en una muestra que comprende células de estroma prostático.
