Title: COPPER-BASED ALLOY BAR FOR HIGH SPEED LOCOMOTIVE GEARBOX AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREFOR
Abstract:
A copper-based alloy bar for a high speed locomotive gearbox and a preparation method therefor. The alloy bar consists of the following components in percentage by weight: nickel-plated silicon carbide 0.5-1%, stibium 1-2%, stannum 4-5.5%, zinc 6-7%, and the balance of copper. A preparation method for the alloy bar comprises: uniformly distributing the nickel-plated silicon carbide in molten alloy liquid. The silicon carbide particle subjected to nickel plating is more easily wetted, more easily mixed with a metallic material in the liquid, and more easily uniformly dispersed in the alloy, thereby providing an easier operation method for preparation of a composite material. Moreover, the nickel-plated silicon carbide still has high hardness and wear resistance. A lead-containing stannum bronze alloy bar can be completely replaced with the copper-based alloy bar produced by combining the hardness and the wear resistance and the appropriate temperature so that lead harmful for environment is eliminated, and the mechanical performance of a nickel-plated silicon carbide-reinforced copper-based alloy bar can also be significantly improved.
