(EN) A method of hardfacing a component (30) includes generating a laser beam (60) and directing the laser beam (60) to an area of a wear surface of the component (30). The method includes feeding a flexible cord (10) of a cladding material into the laser beam (60) to melt the flexible cord (10) and produce a bead (40) of the cladding material on the wear surface. The flexible cord (10) includes an inner metal wire (26) surrounded by an agglomerate of abrasion and wear-resistant material that contains diamond particles (20). The method further includes moving the laser beam (60) and the flexible cord (10) along the wear surface to produce a cladding layer over the wear surface of the component (30).
(FR) L’invention concerne un procédé de rechargement dur d'un élément (30) comprenant la génération d’un faisceau laser (60) et l’orientation du faisceau laser (60) vers une zone d'une surface d'usure de l’élément (30).
