Abstract:
(EN) Described examples include lens cleaning systems, drivers (100) and operating methods, including a transducer (102) mechanically coupled to a lens, a driver (100) to provide an oscillating drive signal (VDRV) to the transducer (102), and a controller (130) to control the drive signal frequency (Ft) to vibrate the lens at frequencies in a range of interest. The controller (130) determines a measured resonant frequency of the lens cleaning system (100) in the range of interest according to a transducer feedback signal (IFB, VFB), and selectively performs a lens cleaning operation if the measured resonant frequency differs from a baseline resonant frequency of the lens cleaning system (100) for a clean lens.
