Abstract:
(EN) A method of making an adhesive article is described comprising melt extruding a core film layer comprising a composition comprising at least 50% of a polylactic acid polymer. The method further comprises melt extruding an adhesive layer on a major surface of the core film layer such that regions of interdiffusion are present between the core film layer and adhesive layer. The adhesive layer may comprise C1-C10 (meth)acrylic acid or ester thereof, vinyl acetate, ethylene vinyl acetate, hydrolysed polyvinyl alcohol and combinations thereof. The adhesive layer may also be a pressure sensitive adhesive. The method further comprises melt extruding a release film layer on an opposing major surface of the core film layer. The layers are sequentially extruded or co-extruded and can be uniaxially or biaxially oriented. Articles comprising a core film layer comprising a composition comprising at least 50% of a polylactic acid polymer and an adhesive layer disposed on a major surface of the core layer are also described.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'un article adhésif consistant à extruder à l'état fondu une couche de film centrale comprenant une composition comprenant au moins 50 % d'un polymère d'acide polylactique. Le procédé consiste en outre à extruder à l'état fondu une couche adhésive sur une surface principale de la couche de film centrale de telle sorte que des régions d'interdiffusion sont présentes entre la couche de film centrale et la couche adhésive. La couche adhésive peut comprendre de l'acide (méth)acrylique en C1 à C10 ou un ester de celui-ci, de l'acétate de vinyle, de l'acétate de vinyle d'éthylène, de l'alcool polyvinylique hydrolysé et des combinaisons de ceux-ci. La couche adhésive peut également être un adhésif sensible à la pression. Le procédé consiste en outre à extruder à l'état fondu une couche de film de libération sur une surface principale opposée de la couche de film centrale. Les couches sont extrudées ou co-extrudées de manière séquentielle et peuvent être à orientation uniaxiale ou biaxiale. L'invention concerne également des articles comprenant une couche de film centrale comprenant une composition comprenant au moins 50 % d'un polymère d'acide polylactique et une couche adhésive disposée sur une surface principale de la couche centrale.
