(EN)A method for detecting a foreign object in a wireless power transmitter, which wirelessly transmits power to a wireless power receiver through a resonant circuit included therein, according to one embodiment of the present invention may comprise the steps of: measuring the strength of power transmitted through the resonant circuit in a power transmission step; receiving, from the wireless power receiver, a feedback packet including information on a received signal strength; determining whether the information on the received signal strength is normal; when it is determined that a received power strength corresponding to the information on the received signal strength is abnormal, correcting the received power strength by applying a predetermined offset thereto; calculating a path loss on the basis of the measured strength of the transmitted power and the corrected received power strength; and detecting a foreign object by comparing the calculated path loss with a path loss threshold.
(FR)Un procédé de détection d'un objet étranger dans un émetteur d'énergie sans fil, qui transmet sans fil de l'énergie à un récepteur d'énergie sans fil par l'intermédiaire d'un circuit résonnant inclus en son sein, selon un mode de réalisation de la présente invention peut comprendre les étapes consistant à : mesurer l'intensité de l'énergie transmise au moyen du circuit résonnant lors d'une étape de transport d'énergie; recevoir, en provenance du récepteur d'énergie sans fil, un paquet de rétroaction comprenant des informations sur l'intensité d'un signal reçu; déterminer si les informations sur l'intensité de signal reçu sont normales; lorsqu'il est déterminé que l'intensité d'énergie reçue correspondant aux informations sur l'intensité de signal reçu est anormale, corriger l'intensité d'énergie reçue par application d'un décalage prédéterminé à celle-ci; calculer un affaiblissement de propagation sur la base de l'intensité mesurée de l'énergie transmise et de l'intensité d'énergie reçue corrigée; et détecter un objet étranger par comparaison de l'affaiblissement de propagation calculé avec un seuil d'affaiblissement de propagation.
