Title: SYSTEM FOR DETECTING DAMAGE TO COATING OF PIPE BURIED UNDERGROUND
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a system for detecting damage to a coating of a pipe buried underground and, more particularly, to a system for detecting damage to a coating of a pipe buried underground, wherein a detecting stick is connected to a terminal through a wire and is provided with an alarm generating portion comprising a vibrator, a lamp, a speaker, and the like such that, when a measured potential value involves an abnormality, the alarm generating portion is activated and makes it possible to accurately recognize the point at which the coating of the pipe is damaged, without having to check the display screen of the terminal. The above-mentioned characteristics of the present invention can be accomplished by a system for detecting damage to a coating of a pipe buried underground, the system comprising: a detecting stick (10) for detecting an electric potential difference in a cathode type with regard to a pipe (1) buried underground using a lower electrode (11) of the stick; and a terminal (20) comprising an amplification portion (21) for amplifying a signal sensed by the detecting stick (10), a signal processing portion (22) for removing noise from the amplified signal and limiting and processing an inputted signal, an A/D conversion portion (23) for converting the processed sensed signal into a digital signal, a control portion (24) for analyzing information converted into a digital signal, calculating and analyzing the value of a current applied to the pipe (1), and outputting the degree of damage to the coating of the pipe through an image, a memory portion (25) for storing information processed by the control portion (24), a display portion (26) for displaying the information processed by the control portion (24) through a graphic image, and a power supply portion (27) for supplying power to each of the above portions, wherein the detecting stick (10) and the terminal (20) are connected through a wire, and the detecting stick (10) is provided with an alarm generating portion (12) for generating a signal such that a signal is generated in an area in which the coating of the pipe (1) is damaged, and the signal is delivered to the user.
