Abstract:
The present invention relates to an ionic diode membrane having a porous structure, which has ion selectivity and ion rectification characteristics by containing tapered nano-pores integrated therein, and a method for manufacturing the same and, more particularly, to: an ionic diode membrane which contains high-density tapered nano-pores integrated therein so as to not only have ion selectivity, but also exhibit rectification characteristics by inducing a concentration gradient along the nano-pore axis through surface charge density mismatch due to low membrane resistance; and a method for manufacturing an ionic diode membrane, which can control various properties of the ionic diode membrane, such as rectification characteristics and membrane resistance, by adjusting anodization process conditions so as to freely control the morphology of the ionic diode membrane according to designs.
