Abstract:
Provided are: a molded seasoning which has the original flavor of a liquid seasoning, is easy to handle and can be taken as such; a food; and a method for producing the molded seasoning. The molded seasoning 1 or 2, which contains a liquid seasoning such as soy sauce, is produced by blending the liquid seasoning at least with agar, a starch and/or a polysaccharide thickener, wherein: the water content is adjusted to 1.6-48.8 mass%; the salt content is adjusted to 15-45 mass% relative to the total mass of the dried solid matters; and the total amount of the agar, starch and polysaccharide thickener is adjusted to 7.4-62.0 mass%.
