Title: AUXILIARY-CHAMBER-TYPE GAS ENGINE
Abstract:
An auxiliary-chamber-type gas engine that comprises: a main chamber formation part that forms a main combustion chamber; an auxiliary chamber formation part that forms an auxiliary chamber that communicates with the main combustion chamber via a plurality of injection holes; and an ignition device that is installed in the auxiliary chamber such that an ignition part is separated by exactly a prescribed distance from a main chamber center axis line of the main combustion chamber. In plan view, the auxiliary chamber has: an ignition near-side region that is on the same side as the ignition part and is bounded by a border line that passes through an auxiliary chamber center axis line of the auxiliary chamber and is orthogonal to a straight line that passes through the auxiliary chamber center axis line and the ignition part; and an ignition far-side region that is on the opposite side from the ignition near-side region. The distance between the auxiliary chamber center axis line and an auxiliary-chamber-side opening end part that is connected to the auxiliary chamber at a far-side specific injection hole that is at least one injection hole that is in the ignition far-side region is shorter or longer than the distance between the auxiliary chamber center axis line and an auxiliary-chamber-side opening end part of a near-side specific injection hole that is at least one injection hole that is in the ignition near-side region.
