Provided is a fuel cell system whereby a reduction in the amount of cooling medium can be prevented. This fuel cell system comprises: a power-generating unit; a cooling medium flow path wherethrough the cooling medium for cooling the power-generating unit flows; a tank disposed, on the cooling medium flow path, at a lower position in the vertical direction than the power-generating unit, and storing the cooling medium; an air flow path connecting the tank to the uppermost portion in the vertical direction of the cooling medium flow path; and an opening-closing valve provided on the air flow path. By bringing the opening-closing valve to an open state, the air inside the tank is introduced via the air flow path into the cooling medium flow path, and the cooling medium in the cooling medium flow path is introduced into the tank. Since the cooling medium flow path does not communicate with the atmosphere, vaporized cooling medium is prevented from being released into the atmosphere, thereby preventing a reduction in the amount of cooling medium.

L'invention concerne un système de pile à combustible qui permet d'empêcher une réduction de la quantité de milieu de refroidissement. Ce système de pile à combustible comprend : une unité de production d'énergie ; un trajet d'écoulement de milieu de refroidissement par lequel s'écoule le milieu de refroidissement de façon à refroidir l'unité de production d'énergie ; un réservoir disposé sur le trajet d'écoulement de milieu de refroidissement, à une position plus basse dans le sens vertical que l'unité de production d'énergie, et qui stocke le milieu de refroidissement ; un trajet de circulation d'air reliant le réservoir à la partie supérieure dans le sens vertical du trajet d'écoulement de milieu de refroidissement ; et une soupape d'ouverture/fermeture disposée sur le trajet de circulation d'air. En amenant la soupape d'ouverture/fermeture dans un état ouvert, l'air à l'intérieur du réservoir est introduit dans le trajet d'écoulement de milieu de refroidissement par l'intermédiaire du trajet de circulation d'air, et le milieu de refroidissement dans le trajet d'écoulement de milieu de refroidissement est introduit dans le réservoir. Comme le trajet d'écoulement de milieu de refroidissement ne communique pas avec l'atmosphère, le milieu de refroidissement vaporisé n'est pas susceptible d'être libéré dans l'atmosphère, ce qui permet d'empêcher une réduction de la quantité de milieu de refroidissement.
