Abstract:
The present invention pertains to an ultrasonic flaw detection device for a composite material comprising multiple materials having different physical properties, the device being provided with: a section identification unit that identifies, in an RF signal of a reflected wave from a composite material irradiated with an ultrasonic wave, a first section in which a material reflected wave can be generated and a second section in which an interface reflected wave can be generated; a material defect determination unit that determines whether or not the value of the RF signal in the first section has exceeded a positive first threshold; and an interface defect determination unit that determines whether or not the value of the RF signal in the second section has fallen short of a negative second threshold.
