Abstract:
(EN) A method of operating a digital radio receiver comprising: receiving a radio signal; passing said radio signal to a correlator for correlating said radio signal with a predetermined pattern to provide an output signal comprising a plurality of peaks separated in time; determining an amplitude of a first peak in the plurality of peaks; calculating a selection threshold based on said first peak amplitude; determining an amplitude of a second peak in the plurality of peaks; comparing said second peak amplitude to the selection threshold; and identifying the second peak as a correlation peak if the second peak amplitude is greater than the selection threshold.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé de fonctionnement d'un récepteur radio numérique comprenant les étapes consistant à : recevoir un signal radio ; passer ledit signal radio dans un corrélateur pour corréler ledit signal radio avec un motif prédéterminé pour fournir un signal de sortie comprenant une pluralité de crêtes séparées dans le temps ; déterminer une amplitude d'une première crête dans la pluralité de crêtes ; calculer un seuil de sélection sur la base de ladite première amplitude de crête ; déterminer une amplitude d'une seconde crête dans la pluralité de crêtes ; comparer ladite seconde amplitude de crête au seuil de sélection ; et identifier la seconde crête en tant que crête de corrélation si la seconde amplitude de crête est supérieure au seuil de sélection.
