Title: METHOD FOR OPERATING A PNEUMATIC ACTUATING SYSTEM OF A TRANSMISSION AND CONTROL DEVICE FOR CARRYING OUT THE METHOD
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for operating a pneumatic actuating system (1) of a transmission, wherein the actuating system (1) has an air reservoir (5), in which a first pressure prevails, wherein the air reservoir (5) is coupled with an actuator space (6) of the actuating system (1), in which a second pressure prevails, and wherein the actuator space (6) is coupled with shift cylinders (2, 3) via control valves (7, 8, 9, 10). In the case of performing a gear shift in the transmission, an air mass, which is fed to the active shift cylinders (2, 3) via the corresponding control valves (7, 8, 9, 10), and an air mass sum are determined on the basis of a desired air mass in the active shift cylinders (2, 3), which is required for carrying out the gear shift, and a current basic leakage of the activated shift cylinders (2, 3), wherein a conclusion is then made about an error leakage in the pneumatic actuating system (1) when the air mass fed to the active shift cylinders (2, 3) is greater than the air mass sum. In the case of a detected error leakage in the pneumatic actuating system (1), it is provided that the control valves (7, 8, 9, 10) of the pneumatic actuating system (1), which are in communication with the actuator space (6) and the shift cylinders (2, 3), are switched off for a parameterizable period of time.
