The invention relates to vehicle tires comprising a tread with at least two profiled block rows (1, 2) which are circumferential in the circumferential direction and comprise profiled blocks (1a, 2a) that lie opposite each other in pairs in the axial direction and are separated by transverse grooves (4). Each of the adjacent profiled blocks (1a, 2a) are separated from each other by a circumferential groove (5) which is substantially U-shaped in the cross-section and comprises a groove base (5a) and a cut (6) which runs in the radial direction starting from the groove base (5a). The circumferential grooves (5) and the cuts (6) run linearly and at an angle (β) of up to 30° relative to the circumferential direction in plan view. The circumferential grooves (5) have a depth (T1) of 1.5 mm to 2.5 mm and a width (B1) on the tread periphery, said width equaling 2.0 times to 3.0 times the depth (T1). The cuts (6) end at a distance (a), which is ascertained in the radial direction, of up to 2.0 mm over the level of the profile depth and a width (B2) of 0.2 mm to 0.7 mm.
