Title: SYSTEM FOR OPERATING AN INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
Abstract:
The invention relates to a system for operating an internal combustion engine, which discharges residual heat during operation via an exhaust gas, said residual heat in turn being used in a thermodynamic cycle, in order to vaporize a working medium in a vaporizer, said working medium being expanded in an expansion machine (22) in order to recover energy from the residual heat in the exhaust gas, wherein a condenser is connected downstream of the expansion machine, said condenser being able to be connected directly to the vaporizer via a bypass having a bypass valve (35), even without expansion. In order to create a system which can be produced cost-effectively, the bypass valve (35) is integrated in the expansion machine (22).
