Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for camera-based control of a lighting unit of a motor vehicle, including steps in which a scene seen in front of the vehicle is imaged in an image by means of a camera system in an imaging step (101) and the image is analysed by virtue of recognizing structures (2-5) in the image and assigning the recognized structures to object classes in an analysis step (102), and the lighting unit of the vehicle is controlled on the basis of the analysis depending on the identified object classes in a control step (106). The invention also relates to a corresponding driver assistance system.
