Title: METHOD FOR SYNTHESIZING CHIRAL QUANTUM ROD BASED ON CIRCULARLY POLARIZED LIGHT
Abstract:
A method for synthesizing a chiral quantum rod based on circularly polarized light, pertaining to the technical field of analytical chemistry. The present invention is a preparation method for transforming chiral quantum dots into chiral quantum rods by irradiation of circularly polarized light. The present invention mainly comprises two parts: the preparation of chiral quantum dots; and the synthesis of chiral quantum rods on the basis of the chiral quantum dots. The present invention overcomes the shortcomings of the difficulty of aqueous-phase synthesis of conventional quantum rods and the difficulty of controlling the morphology of the quantum rods, and resolves the problems of fluorescence quenching and property instability resulting from a complex transition from an organic phase to an aqueous phase. Instead, the present invention directly transforms quantum dots into quantum rods in an aqueous solution by using circularly polarized light, facilitating a wide range of application of the quantum rods in biology and medicine including disease diagnosis and treatment.
