Title: METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SMALL APERTURE HONEYCOMB BLOCK
Abstract:
Provided is a method for manufacturing a small aperture honeycomb block, the method for manufacturing a block comprising the following steps: 1) preparing raw materials; 2) inputting said raw materials into a planetary mixer and mixing for 5-7 minutes; 3) injecting the mixed raw materials into a mold cavity which a left mold and a right mold enclose to form; 4) applying pressure to the mixture in the mold cavity by means of a hydraulic presser which uses a hydraulic pressure of 150-250 kg/cm2 so as to pressurize and compaction mold the raw materials in the mold cavity, then fixing the left mold and right mold into one unit; 5) placing the left and right molds which are fixed into one unit and the pressure molded block in a constant temperature and humidity chamber for curing, curing conditions being 90-100% humidity, while temperature is 20±2°C, then curing for 8 hours and removing the molds, the de-molded block continuing to be cured in a curing chamber until a set age wherein a finished product is obtained. The block manufacturing method utilizes sludge generated by a domestic sewage plant and polystyrene particles to produce light blocks without secondary pollution.
