Title: METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING HIGH-NITROGEN AUSTENITIC STAINLESS STEEL PROPELLER CASTING FOR SHIP
Abstract:
A method for manufacturing a high-nitrogen austenitic stainless steel propeller casting for a ship, comprising the following steps: S1, selecting molten steel for austenitic stainless steel preparation under a refined and to-be-cast state as a basic molten steel raw material; S2, melting an additive in a melting furnace; S3, adding the additive molten steel prepared in step S2 and the basic molten steel into a vacuum induction furnace in convection fashion; S4, manufacturing molds for propeller blades and components thereof; S5, taking out the original casting in step S4; S6, performing flame heating on the surfaces of the heat-treated propeller blades and components thereof in step S5; and S7, repeating step S6 for 2-4 times. Compared with conventional modes, the method has a better function, can effectively improve the use of high-nitrogen austenitic stainless steel on a ship, and can achieve greatly improved wear resistance, mechanical property and corrosion resistance.
