Abstract:
The "electrothermal hybrid microsystem for controlled dispensing of fragrances and aromas" belongs to the olfactory experience sector to provide fragrance samples and relates to the micromanufacture of microsystems incorporating multiple functions, including electrothermal actuators and radio-frequency transmitters/receivers, and the micromanufacture of microsystems that respond to wireless radio-frequency signals and the micromanufacture of microsystems for controlling the dispensing of fragrances and/or aromas using a temperature variation trigger, by activating thermal resistance controlled by wireless. The microsystem simultaneously incorporates a thermal electronic system, an electronic wireless transmitter/receiver system, an electrical power supply system and a compartment for storing the fragrance and/or aroma, all micromanufactured on a support of reduced thickness; the electrothermal system being a set of conductors that are interconnected with a set of resistors printed on the micromanufactured support within a space delimited for the depositing of the fragrance; the electrical power supply system comprising mechanical electrical energy generators or light generators or chemical generators; the compartment for storing the fragrance and/or the aroma being open, semi-sealed or sealed wells; and the fragrance and/or aromas potentially being free-form or associated with other support materials such as solvents or waxes or rubbers or silicas.
