Abstract:
(EN) Systems and methods for tracking the progress and completion of delegated tasks. A delegated task is a task that has been assigned to a responsible person for completion by a delegator or manager. Traditionally, such delegated tasks are not tracked within the manager's calendar/tasking application and, accordingly, the manager may find it difficult to track the progress of delegated tasks. Moreover, it is commonplace for a delegator to assign a task via a message or other informal means of communication. Not only so, but while the delegated task is pending, the delegator and the responsible person may interact regarding the progress of the delegated task using a variety of different message types (e.g., email, text, instant messaging, voice mail, in-person communications, phone calls, etc.). The methods and systems herein provide a management tool in a centralized location for easily tracking the progress and completion of a plurality of delegated tasks.
(FR) L'invention concerne des systèmes et des procédés de suivi de la progression et de l'achèvement de tâches déléguées. Une tâche déléguée est une tâche qu'un délégant ou un gestionnaire a attribuée à une personne responsable en vue de son achèvement. D'habitude, les tâches déléguées ne sont pas suivies dans l'application d'attribution de tâches/calendrier du gestionnaire. Il peut par conséquent éprouver des difficultés à suivre la progression des tâches déléguées. De plus, il est fréquent qu'un délégant attribue une tâche par l'intermédiaire d'un message ou d'un autre moyen de communication informel. En outre, lorsque la tâche déléguée est en attente, le délégant et la personne responsable peuvent interagir par rapport à la progression de la tâche déléguée en utilisant divers types de messages (par exemple un courrier électronique, un texte, une messagerie instantanée, un courrier vocal, des communications de personne à personne, des appels téléphoniques, etc.). Les procédés et systèmes d'après l'invention fournissent un outil de gestion en un emplacement centralisé permettant de suivre facilement la progression et l'achèvement d'une pluralité de tâches déléguées.
