Title: HYBRID DIPPED CORD EXHIBITING EXCELLENT FATIGUE RESISTANCE AND RADIAL PNEUMATIC TIRE HAVING SAME APPLIED THERETO
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a tire cord and a radial pneumatic tire, and is characterized in that, when a raw cord, which is formed by pre-twisting one nylon 6.6 or nylon 6 yarn and one aramid yarn, respectively, then doubling and twisting the two yarns, is untwisted, the aramid yarn is included so as to be 5-100 mm/m longer than the nylon 6.6 or nylon 6 yarn. A hybrid dipped cord, according to the present invention, exhibits excellent fatigue resistance of at least 80%, and with respect to initial deformation during tensile testing, a low modulus may be obtained by means of the nylon, and a high modulus may be obtained starting from a section in which the aramid yarn begins to gain strength, and thus an advantage is achieved whereby deformation is easily applied when inflating a green tire in a mold by means of a bladder, and thus the tire may be easily manufactured.
