Abstract:
(EN) [Problem] To provide a permanent magnet or the like that has, as the main phase, a compound having an Nd5Fe17-type crystal structure that exhibits a high residual magnetization and coercive force. [Solution] This permanent magnet contains R and T (where: R represents one or more rare-earth elements that essentially include Sm; T represents Fe or one or more transition metal elements that essentially include Fe and Co). In this permanent magnet, the compositional ratio of R is 20-40 at%, and the remaining portion is substantially only T or only T and C. The contained amount of T is more than 1.5-fold but less than 4.0-fold of the contained amount of R. The main phase particles included in the permanent magnet have an Nd5Fe17-type crystal structure. The main phase particles of the permanent magnet have an average crystal grain size greater than 1 μm. The number percentage of the main phase particles having a crystal grain size of less than 0.4 μm is less than 20%.
(FR) Le problème décrit par la présente invention est de fournir un aimant permanent ou similaire qui a, en tant que phase principale, un composé ayant une structure cristalline de type Nd5Fe17 qui présente une magnétisation résiduelle élevée et une force coercitive élevée. La solution selon l'invention porte sur un aimant permanent qui contient R et T (où : R représente un ou plusieurs éléments des terres rares qui comprennent essentiellement Sm; T représente Fe ou un ou plusieurs éléments de métal de transition qui comprennent essentiellement Fe et Co). Dans cet aimant permanent, le rapport de composition de R est de 20 à 40 % en atomes, et la partie restante est sensiblement uniquement T ou seulement T et C. La quantité contenue de T est supérieure à 1,5 fois mais inférieure à 4,0 fois la quantité contenue de R. Les particules de phase principale incluses dans l'aimant permanent ont une structure cristalline de type Nd5Fe17. Les particules de phase principale de l'aimant permanent ont une taille moyenne de grain cristallin supérieure à 1 µm. Le pourcentage en nombre des particules de phase principale ayant une taille de grain cristallin inférieure à 0,4 µm est inférieur à 20 %.
