Abstract:
Disclosed are an imaging element, an imaging method, and an electronic device, the imaging element being able to obtain a better camera shake reduction effect. A pixel array unit, in which a plurality of pixels are arranged in the form of an array, outputs multiple frames by EIS imaging, in which short exposure time imaging is performed continuously at high speed. In addition, an exposure control unit determines whether shaking of the pixel array unit exceeds a prescribed value on the basis of shaking information indicating the physical shaking that occurs when the pixel array unit is shaking, and controls the pixel array unit so that the pixel array unit performs EIS imaging until a time at which it is determined that the shaking of the pixel array unit exceeds the prescribed value. This technology can be applied, for example, to a CMOS image sensor having an electronic camera shake reduction function.
