Title: AUTONOMOUS DRIVING CONTROL PLANNING DEVICE AND AUTONOMOUS DRIVING CONTROL PLANNING METHOD
Abstract:
In the present invention, an autonomous driving control plan creation unit (11) creates an autonomous driving control plan, which includes a plan for an autonomous driving section that is a section for autonomously driving a vehicle and a plan for a driving switching preparation section that is a section for switching the vehicle from autonomous driving to manual driving at the end of the autonomous driving section. A driving load calculation unit (12) calculates the driving load to be applied to a driver at each point in the driving switching preparation section if the driver manually drives the vehicle. A driving switching permission determination unit (13) permits the switching of the vehicle from autonomous driving to manual driving at the point where the driving load becomes smaller than a preset threshold, whereas at the point where the driving load becomes the threshold or more, the driving switching permission determination unit does not permit the switching of the vehicle from autonomous driving to manual driving. A permission criteria relaxation unit (14) makes the driving load less likely to exceed the threshold as the vehicle approaches the endpoint of the driving switching preparation section, thereby relaxing the criteria for permitting the switching of the vehicle from autonomous driving to manual driving.
