Abstract:
Provided is an elevator control device capable of calculating a weight difference between a car and a counter weight with high accuracy. The elevator control device is operated such that whether the car is ascending or descending is determined on the basis of the speed signal of an electric motor; a torque current command at the time the car is ascending and a torque current command at the time the car is descending when the car is in an intermediate position are acquired by using an intermediate position timing in a state where a balanced load is loaded in the car; a counter unbalance current is calculated from the average value of the sum of the torque current command at the time the car is ascending and the torque current command at the time the car is descending; and a counter unbalance weight, which is the weight difference between the car and the counterweight, is calculated using the torque characteristic of the electric motor, an elevator roping ratio and a sheave diameter on the basis of the counter unbalance current.
