Abstract:
(EN) A drug delivery device comprising a housing, a piston rod, a transmission member, a helical torsion drive spring coupled to the transmission member and the housing, and a drive member in engagement with the piston rod and adapted to be rotated by the transmission member to thereby move the piston rod distally during expelling. The device further comprises dose setting means allowing a user to simultaneously set a dose and strain the drive spring correspondingly. The drive spring comprises a plurality of wire windings and is formed from a wire having a rectangular cross section wound on edge with the height larger than the thickness. The spring is operated such that the tilt angle for at least a portion of the rectangular wire will increase when the drive spring is strained from an initial strained state to a fully strained state, this resulting in a corresponding non-linear spring characteristic.
(FR) L’invention concerne un dispositif de distribution de médicament comprenant un boîtier, une tige de piston, un élément de transmission, un ressort d'entraînement de torsion hélicoïdal couplé à l'élément de transmission et au boîtier, et un élément d'entraînement en prise avec la tige de piston et conçu pour être entraîné en rotation par l'élément de transmission pour ainsi déplacer la tige de piston de façon distale pendant l'expulsion. Le dispositif comprend en outre des moyens de réglage de dose permettant à un utilisateur de régler simultanément une dose et de contraindre le ressort d'entraînement de manière correspondante. Le ressort d'entraînement comprend une pluralité d'enroulements de fil et est formé à partir d'un fil ayant une section transversale rectangulaire enroulée sur le bord avec la hauteur plus grande que l'épaisseur. Le ressort est actionné de telle sorte que l'angle d'inclinaison pour au moins une partie du fil rectangulaire augmente lorsque le ressort d'entraînement est contraint d'un état contraint initial à un état complètement contraint, ce qui se traduit par une caractéristique de ressort non linéaire correspondante.
