Disclosed is an image processing method, used for processing a color block image outputted by an image sensor to output a simulated original image. The image processing method comprises the following steps: (S20) identify a human face region according to a color block image; and (S40) converting the color block image into a simulated original image. Based on the image processing method provided in the embodiments of the present invention, the human face region is identified according to the color-block image, and then the rest region of the color-block image, except the human face region, is treated according to a first interpolation algorithm. Therefore, the image distinguishability and the image resolution of the image outside the human face region are improved. The image in the human face region is treated according to a second interpolation algorithm with less complexity than the first interpolation algorithm. The signal-to-noise ratio, the distinguishability, and the resolution of the image are improved, the required data to be processed and the processing time are reduced, and the user experience is improved.
