Abstract:
Provided are a signal processing method and device, and an optical fibre transmission system, same relating to the field of optical communications and being able to improve the transmission rate of the optical fibre transmission system without changing the structure of an existing optical transceiver. The signal processing method comprises: an optical transmitter acquiring a first digital signal, wherein the first digital signal is a one-dimensional bipolar digital signal; the optical transmitter compressing and filtering the frequency spectrum of the first digital signal to generate a second digital signal; and the optical transmitter performing frequency shift on the second digital signal, wherein the frequency-spectrum centre of the second digital signal subjected to frequency shift is located at a frequency of zero.
