An electronic device terminal protection structure (100) comprises a groove portion (122) including a socket (121) for externally exposing a connector (14), and a cover (13) covering the groove portion (122). The cover (13) includes a planar cover plate (131), a hinge member (132) attached to one end of the cover plate (131), a latch member (133) which is attached to the other end of the cover plate (131) and which performs a slide operation, and a non-metallic seal (134) which is inserted into the socket (121) and abuts a side wall of the socket (121) when the cover (13) is closed. The groove portion (122) includes a hinge fixing portion to which the hinge member (132) is rotatably fixed, a projection (122d) engaging the latch member (133), and a guiding slope (122e) against which the latch member (133) abuts during a slide operation associated with the cancellation of engagement of the latch member (133), and which guides the cover (13) in a direction pulling the non-metallic seal (134) from the socket (121).
